Vacation like a Rock Star at the Hard Rock Hotel

By Elisha Neubauer

With year-round mild weather, miles of coastline, access to winter skiing, over 100 local breweries, and more, San Diego is perfectly positioned for Californian adventure. If you're not from the area and looking for a place to stay in town, the Hard Rock Hotel offers an experience that's an adventure in itself.

Just outside the entrance to the Gaslamp district, The Hard Rock Hotel is a rock 'n' roll themed hotel that works to make every guest feel like a rock star. "Obviously our prime differentiator is our dedication to music and the unique way in which it is woven into the hotel experience," says Rana Kay, Director of PR for the San Diego Hard Rock Hotel. "Music is infused in all parts of the stay." Get a Fender Stratocaster- and floor amp- delivered to your room and rock out in style. If you're a novice, watch a Hal Leonard video lesson to pick up some basics. Every room includes an integrated stereo surround sound system, you can also play your favorite songs from a Traktor Kontrol Z1 controller provided by the concierge. Check out the one-of-a-kind memorabilia collection, including hand-written songs, signed instruments, costumes, and photos.

Kay tells us that some guests don't even leave the hotel. "From our chic guestrooms and suites (including 17 individually-styled, uber-stylish Rock Star suites), to our world-class dining options including the famous Nobu San Diego, full-service Rock Spa, sparkling pool, and rooftop and lobby bars, it's all here." For those in search of an active nightlife, the excitement of the Gaslamp Quarter lays just outside of the front door, which includes 16 strolling blocks of thrilling venues. The hotel also hosts bachelor and bachelorette parties.

Ranked as a 4.6 out of 5 stars on travel websites, the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego is its own destination. Go to enjoy a day of spa services, to check out the cool memorabilia, to dine in style, and most-of all- to indulge your inner rock star.
